This
is a nice sized enrolled Phacops rana milleri, the rare cousin to the
more "common" crassituberculatus. You can tell the difference by
looking at the eyes, which are aligned in vertical rows rather than
diagonal rows, and the facets lack the moat around each lens.
This specimen is white colored. It is missing
some shell, but the rarity makes this a keeper!
This is an opportunity to obtain an unprepared
trilobite from a famous locality not usually open to collectors. I
cannot guarantee how this specimen will turn out, thus unprepared
specimens cannot be returned for refund.
The pictures illustrate the quality of this piece.
