      Featured is a beautiful enrolled Devonian trilobite, surface collected from the Rhine Valley in Germany.   This is one of the finer specimens I have seen.  Both  faceted eyes are very well preserved.     The exoskeleton is white from weathering, and a tiny bit of shell is missing from the glabella and left thorax edge.  This trilobite is an excellent example of the species!
 
     This specimen was professionally prepared by Marc Behrendt and has no restoration to the bug or matrix.  This is a very fine piece!
