This is a large and fabulous example of a species that is typically much
smaller. The shell is beautifully postulated, and they eyes are
exquisitely preserved. The only flaw on this magnificent specimen is a
tiny chip of shell that is missing from the lower left glabellar edge.
The trilobites was obtained unprepared from an old collection. It was
professionally prepared by Marc Behrendt and has no restoration to the
bug or matrix.
The trilobite has absolutely no reconstruction.
