Obtained unprepared, I cleaned this specimen in a nodule, revealing a
large, pustular, nicely preserved rare trilobite. The thoracic segments
are long, and would end in long sweeping spines. The long genal spines
are not evident, and 2 thornlike pygidium spines can be seen. And the
bug is big!
Also, part of the hypostome is emerging from the base
of the cephalon. This is a fantastic example of a hard to acquire
species!
