Featured is a rare Devonian Cordania falcata. The
trilobite rested on the surface of an exposed rock, and weathered a for
a while before it was found. It was complete and would have been a
centerpiece to many collections. As it is, the right side is fully
shelled, the left side is missing the shell. The genal spines are fully
present, as is the entire outer rim of this bug.
This is still a very fine specimen of a rare trilobite!
It was professionally prepared by Marc Behrendt and has no restoration
to the bug or matrix.
The pictures illustrate the quality of this piece.
